'Earl' atones for eating stolen ice cream at middle school 35 years ago

People really are nicer in the mid-west....A man in Wisconsin who stole ice cream 35 years ago apparently couldn't live with the guilt anymore. So he confessed to his 'crime' and returned to the middle school where the act occurred to throw an ice cream party as part of his atonement. Contrast this story with criminals who rape and murder and deny their guilt up until the very end.

      This article is similar to a recent one I saw on digg. A guy had found a high school library book and returned it. It was like 30 years overdue and he payed the librarian a couple hundred. I like the articles that are coming into lawmouth.
